Horizontal drilling support
The horizontal processing station [drilling into the transverse edge] is separated from vertical processing and is situated in front of vertical drilling as a separate station. Advantage: no loss of time in case of combined drillings (horizontal and vertical), like e.g. for fittings for carcase connections.
- Two drilling units per side are individually positionable via ball thread-spindles in X- and Y-direction.
- Automatic adjustment of processing height for each side via gear rod.
- Fixed stops in throughfeed direction in the front define the zero-position of the panels.
- During processing the clamping system keeps an exact and dimensionally stable position of the panels.
Vertical drilling support
The vertical drilling support has an electronic postioning in X-direction. Each support is equipped with two processing units, each moving in Y-direction. On both units the drilling depths are precisely accomplished via Z-axes, independent of each other. [Manualset-up times for positioning of the drilling units are not necessary.]
The panel supports and the pneumatic counterholds provide reliable fixing of panels from the top. They are positioned in X-direction, this also applies for the supports. [Manual setting of support rails and positioning of counterholds are not necessary.]
Increased flexibility and efficiency by very narrow design of the supports: 96 mm for alternating drilling gears, 128 mm for drilling units with individually controllable spindles. By this means complex drilling patterns can be handled with standard drilling gears.
